A Protest Against Repression
Connecting organizers, community members, and political education, CurbFest for Political Prisoners raises awareness of political prisoners held captive in the US. Curbfest encourages people to embody self determination by working together, instead of turning to the state for approval such as permits or resources we can find among our neighbors. Featuring local DJs, Performers and Artists, CurbFest brings a much needed “liberated” community vibe to the struggle towards abolition. (Click below to learn about the Curbfest Team and to Donate.)
Curbfest is the first project of “Mentoring the OG Revolutionaries,” a collective of young organizers who are collaborating with seasoned organizers on political education projects. We are working in collaboration with Love Not Phear,, Free Kamau Sadiki, Veteran Black Panthers, The Jericho Movement, Building Fearless Futures, Ubuntu ⇔ Freedom, The Black Philly Radical Collective, The Abolitionist Law Center, The Black Alliance for Peace, and Mary’s Daughter for the Formerly Incarcerated.

In Your Neighborhood
We invite you to host a Curbfest in your hood! One of the goals of Curbfest is to empower people to show up for Political Prisoners in all cities and to share ways to get involved in movement work. In this effort, we can provide access to our team for guidance, strategies for successful organizing, our brand toolkit and media support. If you have interest and plan to host your own Curbfest, let us know by completing the form on the next page and/or attending or watching our info session______. (Click below to access the form and to donate.)
